I have alway's used Castrol Chain Spray ($12 for a 250g aerosol) on my trail/dirt bike's, i find it does a good job, stay's on the chain and dirt hardly stick's to it.
Recently when the Castrol tin was getting low i bought some Rock Oil chain lube ($20 for a 400g aerosol), and have used it on my FZR chain a few time's now
It doesn't flick off just like the Castrol

Only problem i've had with it was last weekend, i had to pack up quickly so i put the tin and a few other thing's just inside my shed door and locked it up.
Next morning i came out and opened up the shed and found the can had been pushed into the shed a bit more by the shed door and the cap had pushed into the bumper of my XR Fairmont, and emptied the can all over the shed floor, oop's

The castrol stuff is crap - it flings.

The Motul (Is it C1 or C2? Can't remember) chain lube works for me, doesn't fling, and dries clear.

Mate and i went out riding off road one day, we did 230km's.
I had Castrol on my chain and mate had Motul on his
At the end of the day his chain was filthy with dirt and so was his rim, my chain looked like i had just lubed it and the rim was spotless
