Hey Slender Welcome to the forum, good to see another 250 fan, please feel free to post some pics in the gallery. Im always keen for a ride, where abouts are you located ? thanks Chris
I'm in Brisbane and will post a pic up once the paint is finished. Matt black with repsol orange. Will look nice once it's finished. Just got to iron out a few bugs before rego.
Hi guys, sorry it's taken so long to say Hi, I've been a bit busy with work etc. Hi Phil, it's Doug who bought the grey Across. I think it is the perfect bike for me and I'm really happy I found it. It rides really well and the power comes on beautifully smooth. I do need to look at the chain, as it seems to have a fair bit of slack, but I have a .pdf manual for the gsx 250's and I should be able to have a look at it this weekend and then post up in the forum and ask you guys for advice about it. Definitely no complaints though, awesome bike. Hi to you too Chris (kiffsta), you have a really nice house by the way. Great set up too. Cheers, Doug.
Hi Doug Welcome to the Forum and great to hear from you. Very pleased to hear the Suzuki Across is running well for you, she was a sweet machine. Any assistance we can render, feel free to contact us. Look forward to seeing more of you on the Forum and as always, ENJOY THE RIDE Cheers Phil
G'day everyone. My name name is Stefan and I'm an alcoholic, oh wrong forum, sorry. Try again, I'm 24, I own a CBR250RR and live on the wrongly labelled Sunshine Coast, QLD. I found a card for this site at my local Honda candy shop, thought I'd give it a go. For some reason my pictures come out orange although the bike is red, will invest in a new camera one day..... Here she is: Having a slumber party: As is now, decided it'd block a main jet so carbs are getting a clean Thanks for your time, hopefully the pics work out for me
Hey Stefan Welcome to the forum. It is pleasing that some of the cards that I have been distributing around the coast are being seen and picked up. I note your reference to the wrongly named Sunshine Coast, has been that way. Thanks for the photos Phil
welcome Stefan, nice CBR, looks like you have a Tyga kit on the lower and rear fairings which IMO are smoking hot Chris
Thanks for the welcome fellas. Kiffsta, you are spot on with the tyga gear. It was a full tyga kit until I hit not one, but two cars. Few dollars given to a wrecker and this is the end result. Phil, finally getting some good weather lately, see how long it lasts. Should probably get the bike back together to enjoy it rather then bludging on forums. Whereabouts are you? Cheers Slender, I also prefer this combination (would probably help if the colors matched), although it's alot more scratched up and not very nice in person. Gets me to where I'm going though......until now
Hi Chris and Phil. I'm, Andi, owner of the zxr250 website and forum. Congrats on getting yourself the best 250 you could add to your garage, lol. Your site is nice and uncluttered and the forum is nice and bright as well. You guys did a good job setting up the umbrella site for all the 250 class models, so give yourselves a pat on the back. My past 250's have been: KX250 DT250 VT250 GPZ250 TS250X And currently have my wifes Bandit and Zxr tucked up in the garage. The zxr is currently having a full rebuild again, as i am currently recovering from a accident back in August 2009, and am bored. Ride Safe Guys
Hye andi Welcome aboard mate, for those who dont know, Andi's website is www.zxr250.com and has been a wealth of info for me when researching if I should buy a ZXR50. thanks chris
Hi all, I love the 250 screamers. Been into bikes for ages and am probably as old as some members fathers or even grandfathers! My ride (still owned) for the last 10 years is a 2001 Ducati 900SSie, but over the last couple of years or so got involved with 250s. These are the end results of two knackered bikes I "rescued", repaired and painted. The CBR was mine (sold) and the ZXR is my daughter's bike. On the ZXR the characters on the tank are Japanese/Kanji for Kawasaki and on the fairing are Kanji for four cylinder. Now working on a 1964 Lambretta as the latest project, starting from a basket case. Richard
Welcome Punch, 2 great looking bikes, the CBR250RR looks awesome with the Riding Sun paint job, kind a reminds me of this T250 paint scheme. Chris
Hey Punch Welcome to the Forum, what can I say Love your work. The rising sun is inspiring and would draw very little attention, I'm sure. Phil
Hey Andi Welcome to the Forum and many thanks for your kind words. As for Chris, can't get the smile off his dial and with good reason, our latest acquisition is a gem. Had the opportunity to ride it last week end and enjoyed the ride immensely. She needs a little fine tweaking and she'll be GREAT. Cheers Phil
Hey Jim If that's what you can do with a bike, hold the phone I'm heading down to try your cafe. Welcome to the Forum and well done with the Yamaha, love to hear the story on that one Cheers Phil
