    Finally got around to duplicating the engine mount adapter plate on the left hand side, I'll update some photos soon, the cameras batteries went flat, & I'm useless at trying to upload from my cell phone.

    No, but I have a GSF250VY GJ77A, nice to know that SV650 motors fit with a little work. Keen to see how you go with the build.

    Please don't get me wrong, This is not going to be an easy project, I'm going to have big problems to fit in a fuel injected setup or carb. installation, very close to the frames top front cross member. The fuel tank will also have to have a big cutout for the same to fit in. But hey that's what projects and challenges are all about aye.

    'There will be an update shortly, I have gone with a twin front disc setup on an 18" front wheel with the Honda comstar type wheel the same as the rear wheel which is from a honda CB 750. I have checked the clearance between the front wheel & the engine & it looks fine, but I will be placing the radiator under the seat, the oil cooler will be as standard.
    One big problem is the clearance available between the rear exhaust port & the frame, a very tight fit, but I'm sure I can make it happen, I'm going to fit twin exhausts (Ducati) to make the bike look proportionate from both sides.

    Interesting little project. Have you allowed enough clearance for the radiator when the front wheel is at full bump?

    Yes & that is why I'm going to locate the radiator & fan underneath the seat, there is quite a bit of spare room in that area, the original position of the oil cooler is fine plenty of clearance for that.

    And also by the way, I have decided to go with a carb setup rather than fuel injection, mainly because of the clearance underneath the fuel tank, I'm going to use a 40mm Mikuni on a single slit manifold that will enter the frame underneath the front right of the frame. I have purchased a wiring loom from the earlier version of this bike that had a carb setup.

    A few more pics of the Honda CB 750 Comstar rear wheel fitted in, had to widen the swingarm slot from 18 - 20mm for the larger wheel axle bolt & narrow the bearing spacers somewhat to fit between the swingarm legs.
    The wheel will be powder coated the same gold colour as the front wheel.

    Have you thought about twin radiators from an enduro bike rather than put rad under seat where the airflow may not be optimum?

    Thanks for that, yes I am reconsidering where to place radiators, I did think of what you have suggested but I don't want to block out the look of the engine, I am thinking of placing a wider but narrower radiator at 90 degrees right underneath the fork stem, I'll see what happens, I would rather reserve the space underneath the seat for the battery & electrics.
    What do you think?

    I guess whatever works and gives you the right look. A very trick way would be use a custom fuel cell and make a "tank" to conceal some longitudinally mounted radiators/fan units inside. Airflow may have to be sufficiently ducted in and out. Could be done with fibreglass, aluminium, steel or carbon fibre etc. Never seen it done before, do us proud here at 2fiftycc :D
