Hi Kevin, I live "just up the road" in South East Scotland

I too bought an RS, a few years back, as a "winter hack" (I originally had a brand new one when I was a student) and immediately fell in love with with "singlees" over again, to the extent that I traded my BMW R1200GS for one of the last the "baby" G650GS models!

In fact the machine was in far better condition than I had any right to expect, and whilst it's entirely roadworthy, if a little scruffy, it's become a long-term resto project.

I'm happy to field any questions and/or trade surplus/ servicable spares with you or any UK based members.

    Nice and local then :)
Yes, that is what this bike is intended for.

Funnily enough I am after the little cap for the tool box as mine is missing. I think on CMNSL it's a complete unit.

    Thanks, Kelvin

Quick picture from when I got it home yesterday :)
Someone mentioned a tappet tool on this forum and I had one for a 400 Bandit I used to have, tried it and it fits so that's a bonus when I need to adjust.
