    Oh come on Grey, keep the cruiser in the condition you received it in and just use Scotchlocks
    I have seen them used even by Auto Electricians for Driving lights and even trailer connections

    Kidding of course, about using them I mean. I have seen them used by Auto Sparks though.

    Yamaha FZR250 speed bike, Yamaha YZ/WR250F, Kawasaki ZX2R, Honda VTR250, DR350 (x 3.5), a couple of prototypes and whatever else.
    You can remove the connectors from the bulb plug and join the wires with a new connector. Use a fine wire/blade/metal strip from a window wiper blade and poke it in from the bulb side of the plug above the connector's flat edge to push down the locking tab. Or YouTube it.
