I am overhauling a set of ZXR250 carbs for a customer who had them "done" by a famous 'big bike' shop in Bangkok. Amongst all the usual butchery -

Behold a Mikuni float needle stuck on a Keihin float bowl, and there is no spring in said Mikuni part. It is seized. Just genius.

Float seats are seized and glued with something. Have to tap them with an M6 and use a slide hammer technique to get them out. Nothing better than fixing the work of numpties, right? :)

Customer did this. Never mind, used my favourite screw extractor to get them out. Now this carb is ready for 3-Bond treatment.

Oh yes. Just goes to show that some people should not be allowed near tools.
