Thanks guys. Thanks for moving to the right thread too. I'm pretty happy with the engine. Most of that is fairly steep uphill. Definitely good fun to ride Tim.

That sir is a good climb indeed. Feel certain you would not wish to be out there at present, very wet indeed.
Bike sounds really smooth, and don't forget that smell............love it :thumb_ups:

Went through the national park yesterday, there was still plenty of tree crap and water on the roads, but exiting the park I was able to get some good footage.

Wind noise? What wind noise? My exhaust is louder :D

Couldn't watch more than half of that as the view of just the road got a bit monotonous.

Fizzer sounds like it's going great though!

Hot lap from Baskerville on Saturday, 1:07.27

Aim is for a 65 sec lap. If I can do that I'll be stoked.

I noticed you use a reverse pattern on the gearshift, why do racers do this? I would find that confusing when riding on the road.

It's like everything new @Murdo it's weird to start with and you stuff up and limiter bash a few times, but then it becomes second nature and you can swap between the two without thinking about it.

You're kind of right @Th3_Huntsman it makes is easier to change gear while having the bike lent over, it's easier to push down on the lever to change up rather than trying to get your foot under the lever which would scrape on the ground at those angles. Also by changing that way it stops the shifting of weight mid corner which can upset the balance of the bike and cause issues from running wide to crashing.

I'm still using the factory rearsets. Had to modify the stock lever to accommodate the new shift rod position, it's not pretty lol. Am looking at aftermarket options to get them up higher to stop them from scraping.

Ahh, thank you for enlightening me.
Last time I rode a bike with the 'down for up' pattern it was also on the right side, which really had me struggling coming to a roundabout.
