i have a 2000 honda nighthawk 250 and I was wondering if parts are compatible with others years .for instance.are the stators compatible ?
They only way to know for sure is by comparing part numbers The only info we have is an owners manual http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?resources/honda-cb250-nighthawk-owners-manual.182/ Info online says the bike hasnt really changed except the colors over the years. Like all big manufacturers they will keep basic parts the same over different years and similar models 'In contrast to the Honda Rebel 250, which offers very similar specification' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Nighthawk_250 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CB250
greyimport must be correct. I know From experience that Japanese bikes use interchangeable parts. even if the numbers differ slightly, they might work I had gs125 and gsx250 at the same time and the ignition coils from the 125 worked on the 250. I know it's Suzuki and this is Honda but there is no way that parts from a previous year's bike wouldn't fit the new bikes by the same manufacturer. especially when It's a small bike. but I can be wrong and I'm no pro. you should listen to the proffetionals here.
