I got a spare tank which i have cleaned and sealed as the old one was so bad i could push my finger through it but as the title says there is a fair smell of fuel coming from the tank cap. I,m guessing it,s that old i need a new tank cap would i be right in saying this i dont want to fork out cash if it,s the tank itself coz i notice it has been filled around the cap with isopon or somethin. See i cleaned and sealed it before i stripped the paint then found this im planning on painting it soon but i don,t wanna be forkin out cash unless i,m sure hence the thread. Any thoughts?
