Piston rings for GT250 X7

Hey

I bought some aftermarket piston kits 55.5mm or 1.5mm oversize. The rings that came with these kits seem like a bad fit, they would not close very well and just a lot worse than I've come across.

Also I took one and tried to bring the ends closer to tighten it a bit and it just snapped in my hands. I grabbed one of the old rings and it bent alot further and didn't break.

So now I need to find some decent rings. I can't find anyone selling 55.5mm GT250 X7 rings on their own.

I know its Saturday and most places are closed but do you think a place like serco could find size up and supply some new decent pistons made from a higher tensile steel?
