    Ive heard some dumass stuff from coppers before but thats a winner.

    If they are running traffic duty Im sure they would get memos on any law changes...... maybe he was busy eating his donuts or spilt his coffee on them.

    Bit like walking into a restaurant and the cook doesn't know wats on the menu.

    i do get that, but if a law changes and we don't know it we still get a ticket as they say "not knowing the law is not a reason".
