    Hello again!

I have to start thinking about the shocks for the GSX250 my question is...

Can the original ones be restored? If so how do I get into them

If they are shot what would you recommend? I have seen the cheap ones on ebay and they look ok but anyone know of any alternatives? (I was hoping to spend no more than say $250 if poss)

    Cheers Guys

    Ebay Ones

There are places around that will re-build them for you but to be honest..it will probably be more that the cost of the eBay ones... I know for old Honda (early 70's and up) road bikes the UK SOHC forum say TEC shocks are really good but I dont know if they are available here.
Have a good look at your shocks.. if the shafts are pitted or corroded forget about them... unless of course you are dong a full not and bolt 100 point restoration...

Yeah thanks mate, I have had a look and they are pitted so I'm thinking that I will get the ebay ones as a hopeful solution and I can always upgrade later on, I just want to get the build going so that I have a rolling bike as soon as possible.
I did buy some from ebay on the GN250 I did and they seem ok (probably not the best quality)
    Thanks as always! :)

to rebuild the originals will be 700 hundred and up. replacements will do the job, just not as well in my experience.
