    Hi guys,

A quick question, thanks to the law changes up here in QLD in 2015, we are able to make the single seater modification as an owner now (Previously modplate code LR7).

Just wondering how this works. My Roadworthy cert says 2 seater. Despite the fact I have no pegs for the rear. Seat is still there. I will get a cover for it later.

But I really don't feel like paying twice the rego of a single seater.

Question is, how do I inform the Dept of Transport that it's now a single seater when I go to register it?

My FZR was registered prior to this law, and was modplated for LR7 prior to my ownership.

    Thanks.

Won't there be a box on the registration application form to tick ?

walk into main roads, tell them you have made it a single seater and they will get you to sign a form saying that yes indeed you have and you are not lying and its punishable by law if you are lying... and bob's your uncle...
