ive had the bike apart today hunting for my problem (checked valve clearances - all great) and am currently doing a thorough check of the ignition system and want to be certain of the resistance values, after looking at the japanese fzr250 manual, and then cross refrencing with the fzr 400 manual can you guys confirm the following, coil resistance 2.3-3.2 ohm spark plug cap resistance 12-18 k ohm i couldnt find a value that seemed to suit the secondary coil resistance, but i assume its fairly similar to the plug cap judging by the fzr 400 manual... also does anyone have any idea what the pickup coild resistance should be? mines 230ohm but from what i can gather from the manual it should be 93-140ohm any comments would be great!
FZR 250 specs Coil primary 2.8ohm +/- 15% Secondary 15Kohm +/- 20% Spark plug resistor 10Kohm Pickup coil 230ohm +/- 20%
