    Hey there,

I have a 1989 FZR250 2KR that I bought second hand and it’s doesn’t have a side stand switch. I’m wondering if they originally had one or not and if they did, any chance someone can post a few photos so I can see what they look like and how it attaches to the bike?

    Thanks!
    Andrew

1989 and 2KR don't go together, has it got the alloy Deltabox frame or a steel frame ?
I had o look in the part's catalogue at Megazip but the 2KR's dont look like the have a stand switch, 3LN's do

It’s got the steel frame so definitely a 2KR. You’re right, looks like they were only made up to 1988. I wonder if I got that year from when it was first registered or something in Australia.

Anyway seems like they didn’t come with one. I’m working on switch to retrofit so will post some info here in case anyone’s interested.
