The VJMC members had been invited to take some vintage Yamahas to the Grand Opening of the new Yamaha dealers in Singleton, NSW. This is a 200Km trip for us (about 2.5hours), so I put my YDS-5 and YB-100 into my ute and left at 'dark o'clock' this morning to make my way there. The set up was very good with lots of new bikes on display, test rides, Dave McKenna stunt rider doing stunts (kids' got some talent), local radio station broadcasting, PeeWee 50s on a bit of dirt for the little kids, free BBQ and about 23 vintage bikes on display (and a couple of moderns).
    My two in front.

Was sad to leave the YDS-5 behind, but it's new owner came to pick it up and I believe he will look after it.

thanks murdo, will love to hear the exhaust howl and tyres smoke. will show those fizzers up.LOL.You missed the final performance-sitting on handlebars with both front legs in front riding the bike with back wheel in air. the skill or stupidity mckenna was showing was unreal.seriously the bike control mckenna was showing was absolutely unreal.how that turboed bike was flung around in that area was unreal.

then the rain came down again.
