Had to do a run to Ipswich to pick up a bike for a customer , it was a 1984 su7&8 rl250 trials bike, I had never seen one in the flesh and this seller had 3 of them

There was 40 trials bikes spread throughout his house and garage

40 bikes? There, but for the grace of God, go I. Or but for the lack funds...

    At least his are sought-after.

went to see the vjmc librarian to check on the old honda 250 and is a 1973 k4 . received the david silver deduction from the bank account. so close to a grand not funny and still need 2 mufflers and headlight rim.might end up a 5/6 k bike. ah for nostalgia.

Silvers in the USA show LH and RH downpipe and mufflers are currently in stock in UK.
Bother are shown as Genuine items not Pattern parts so will be expensive.
The search I did was for K4.
The K5 is actually the same as the G5 but with the TLS front brake although there was some carry over of this into the 1974 G5.
Lots of differences, biggest is the engine. Very different.
I have been looking for downpipes for my K5/G5 since I bought it last October. Still haven’t found any Second hand other than in the USA and way too expensive for what they are.

ordered from uk but out of stock and not available for months or may not be restocked. csmln are just tooooooo expensive so will give staintune a ring as can borrow a set to copy from. if you are interested will be getting a quote for more than one set.

Just had a chance to check Silvers UK site and while the K4 is Temp out of Stock they do show the G5 mufflers in stock. Main difference will be they are slightly Upswept rather than straight.
    https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CB250G5/part_308268/
That is in addition to the Police style pipes and mufflers shown above...

I have a certain amount of second hand bits for the SRX. Let me know if you need anything and I will check what I have.
There is a manual in resources as well

99 out of 100 scrambler builds look like regular bikes with a stack of Chinese bolts ons bought from third gear.com.au , and are generally butt ugly.

I am quite impressed how he used the paint to accent the body work and the spoked wheels and fork gators are a nice touch. . I think it is a pretty cool take on a retro scrambler

I am with @GreyImport ... the rear pipes look stupid (way too big) and not practical as even a street scrambler with the ground clearance... Still each to their own I guess.

found a pair of cb250 k0 mufflers which appear the same as k4. will buff and use temporarily until david silver has aftermarket back in stock.

Rode from Sydney to Tamworth yesterday... number plate fell off somewhere along the way. No idea how I didn't get pulled over or flashed/honked about it. Lucky I was behaving myself.
