Help Spada diode for clutch switch

    it appears the starting safety clutch switch has a diode somewhere that has failed can someone tell me where I can find it

    That sort of thing is usually located in a relay/junction box or TCI unit. Consult the wiring diagram / manual / exploded parts view.

    From what I recall (I might be wrong), I think the clutch diode is located in the main loom that runs down the right side of the frame. It is tucked in just below the tank. You probably need to remove the tank to get at it. It just looks like a little connector block plugged into the loom.

    Thanks for your answer I had the tank of this morning but didnt look around that area I had the airbox off a couple of weeks ago and Im sure it was working before then Ive only just got the bike and have been tidying up a few things
    you wouldnt by any chance know where I can get a speedo and tacho from??

    I have seen new cases and dial plates as well.
    I purchased some aftermarket needles a little while ago, but have not had time to fit to my bike yet.
    You will just have to hunt around.

    You can try www.CB750faces.com, they're in the Netherlands and have a lot of stuf for speedo and tacho restoration
