    Hi All,
I've been messing around with ideas for making a logo and some stickers.
This is very rough as I am not that good with graphics. The finished item will have rounded edges like the internal border.
    What do you think?

    All criticism welcomed :D

    Thanks Mr Grey.
Yes, I am terribly slow at times.
Here is the same thing but just using emboss without the shadow.

It looks too much like an older Queensland numberplate to me mate.

Oh probably about a week or two. I will visit the printing shop tomorrow armed with my obscenely expensive paper. They will see me coming and think "Oh no not this guy again". The language barrier gets to be a bit of a laugh sometimes.

That's a point Mr Huntsman, but they will only be 70mm long. The idea is to stick on your swingarm or some such, and the background colour is supposed to blend with an alloy frame.
Let's see how long it takes before someone doctors it with a "QLD" at the top.

Ok without the 'number plate' border.

    Hi Blair
Looks clinical, clean, but it doesn't get me going. It certainly doesn't tell me anything about the great product behind the name.
What I would love to see is a donut shape with lite Tek printed on the donut. Of course it must be the same colour as your seals, that' a given. This would highlight the great seals you make. You could also include the word Viton and I think people would identify better with your superlative seal kits.
You sir, manufacture a great product and I would like people to identify with it more.
    Just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks for the input Phil. The only problem is that I plan to expand into other products, and hopefully I can get a start on that this year.

I know it is quite bland but I am just not very good at the art side of things and I was thinking that something is better than nothing. I need to build the brand. On a per capita basis my sales to the USA are woeful which is the opposite of Aus.

It has to remain simple to be recognisable and easy to remember

Whats the purpose behind numberplate design and graphics ? ..... to be SEEN and easy to read, even from a distance.

    My 5c worth :D

Stu thanks for your effort. I prefer green though.
I have taken Kiffsta's advice and given my ideas to a graphic designer on that web site. Let's see what comes back.
    cheers

aah the best made plans of mice and men and all that.
When something is about to be completed I will shout it from the rooftops but I think it best if I just keep quiet otherwise.

    Hi All,
Here is the results from Fiverr. (Thanks to Kiffsta's idea)
I like them all in different ways. I have not changed them yet but I will also be doing them with a silver background so they blend well when placed on a swingarm. Anyway first impressions; I like the middle one the most. The bottom one would be too tall. Of course things like this are very subjective but your feedback is appreciated.
I also placed a small one on my front page to see what it looks like. Though now my dodgy collection of images looks out of place.
    cheers

I like the font in concept 3. Maybe ditch the logo altogether?
