Up for sale is my 1974 Suzuki T500 Titan 2 stroke , 2 and a half years ago she underwent a mechanical restoration, the engine was removed and the crankshaft was redone with new seals, 2 new wiseco pistons were also installed. here is what was done \ replaced. - Cases , barrels and heads were cleaned and vapour blastedw - All Genuine Suzuki engine seals - All genuine Suzuki gaskets were used. - Newtronic Electronic ignition fitted (no points) - New Suzuki carb to cylinder rubbers fitted - 2 new Bridgestone coils fitted - Suzuki T500 grab rail rechromed and fitted - 2 new Bridgestone tyres - Tank and side covers painted - New replica badges from Badge Replicas in Melbourne I have done less than 2500 kms since putting her back on the road. I work 6 days a week and it is rarely used, it needs to be ridden and enjoyed hence the reason for sale. So what’s wrong with it ? • The speedo bounces at high speeds, the trip meter doesn’t work, easily fixed at Otto Instruments • The frame could use a paint • I have just noticed some 2 stroke oil leaking from the oil tank banjo from sitting, simple seal from Suzuki .Pipes are original, but have some staining . As there are a few small things to be fixed, I am selling it unregistered. I don’t want to swap for anything, just a simple sale. Inspection in Birkdale after hours, or can bring it to Capalaba during business hours with some notice. I do hold a dealer’s licence, so I am obliged to let potential buyers know that. The older 2 strokes are very collectable, and this is cheap and easy way to get into a vintage bike, you can join a club like the VJMC or HMCCQ and put the bike on club rego. $5750 or closest, in no rush to sell , low ballers will be ignored. thanks for looking $5750 or best
