I'm trying to find something like stompgrip or grip pads to use on the fizzer tank, and it's a bloody headache.

I'm searching ebay for things like stompgrip or tank grip and you cannot find anything in Australia that is cheap enough, and I don't want to wait weeks for something overseas either.

I've thought about going DIY and had skateboard grip tape in mind, but thought it may be too rough on riding gear.

Anyone else done this? What did you use and where did you get it?

Bad photo, but I use a sticky foam pad. It's the same stuff I use for my seat pad but a smaller thickness.

Any good foam or rubber shop should stock something like it. This cost me $17 for half a square meter. Which was enough to do a seat and two sets. Just need to cut it out with a blade then go around the edge with a dremel or other sander to round off the edges.
