    I do not see AI as becoming the dominant component of motorsport, but it will slowly infiltrate the sport as we know it and help open it up to a new audience.

    Yes, I agree, in retrospect, that innovation has moved from top level motorsport to other day to day applications, but it is becoming harder and more costly to get these outcomes.
    A side step into a new area opens up a whole lot more potential.
    I enjoy watching real people compete in motorsport and that is not just the guys directly in control. My primary desire to see a person at the helm will not change. But I am all for introducing something new to the mix.
    I do not like watching horse racing, but I do enjoy motorsport. It is that blend of technology and that element of risk to the competitors that makes it interesting.
