I can just see the conversation now "Dunno why it's not selling honey, I totally put it on Gumtree!! Better just take her for a run today...to condition the battery." :lolsign:

    That's a possible reason, I was just expressing the issues I've seen. I've noticed that I tend ignore ads that don't give a price nowadays. Then again, if they have a price, it is usually more than my budget, by about as much as the price tag... So broke.

    I thought a lot of starter motors were fairly generic.

    I'm afraid not , they have different spacings where they attach to the cases , trust me, I tried about 20 different ones today

    I thought Kawasaki are good for part sharing. Maybe not so much the zx2r.
