True, but I have to get the whole thing to Melbourne. I'm in no rush at the moment as not a lot of racing happening. Thanks for the info Andy.

I'm sure there's other options if you're coming to Brisbane. ;-P
Also I'm not 5 hours away, unless you're really speeding! But I might be down before then. I'd have to check them, make sure it's all there and whether it is useful, though.

I would buy the ZZR as you will need all the steering stem bits, handle bars, brackets, master cylinder to match the caliper, etc. Sell off the rest for spares to get your money back.

Yep. I think I will do that. Easier to get something here in Melbourne.

Its probably worth about half that ... Id like the bodywork though ... and the rearsets

I wonder what slicks they are ... bit useless on a trackbike ... doubt it would go hard enough and long enough to get them up to temp

@Linkin don't you already have a track bike? If you want a dedicated track bike, I wouldn't pay $3k for an FZR. The 2KR, even with single disc, would be better buying; you'll only waste a grand instead of 3+. Besides, you'll need budget thousands for a year of racing, and nearly as many thousands for a year of track days. Why must it be so expensive! :(

I was looking at the Repco website and saw some special's on bulb's
They must no longer be stocking Mechpro bulb's as they're listed at clearance prices
I went down there this morning and bought a few boxes of each.
The salesman wasn't too happy but he said they've priced them wrong but he'd honour that price, and said that someone would be getting onto the webpage asap and will be fixing the incorrect price's
If you want any get down to repco before they go up again!
They still haven't gone up on the website yet, an hour later

If I was really nostalgic I would want this to restore... One of these was my first "proper" bike after the Honda 90 stepthrough.
16 year 10 months and it cost $220 2nd hand... crashed it on the first day.. just hit an orange light in Sydney and a car on my left jumped the green.. Lucky all I did was twist the forks.. it was a great little bike... 70mph absolutely flat strap laying down and I was all of about 75kg back then. Now the poor little thing wouldnt even move if I have one...lol

The Good Doctor would turn that around in two weeks while us mortals would take forever, well at least I would.
