Thread Chasers

    Often you need to clean up threads, especially when someone has put too much Loctite on them (disc bolts), done some butchery etc. Make your own thread chaser using high tensile black socket head cap screws. Cut 2 grooves in the screw with a 4" angle grinder fitted with thin cut off disc. Better than using a tap because they can easily remove metal.

    The one in the image is just a bolt (used for my spark plug threads) because I could not get an M10 x 1.0 cap screw here in Timbuktu, but you get the idea.
