Hi all, Ive been trying to tune my carbs but doing so without the tanks on, just running through a bottle (for ease of getting to the needles etc). Question is, would this cause any tuning issues ie not having the vacuum line hooked up? (Running original carbs). I seem to be getting a bit of hunting and the bike wants to stall after sitting at high revs, like it's getting starved of fuel.

Are you running the original air box and air cleaner?

make sure all the vacuum hoses have a suitable plug in em (screw driver drill bit :) )
also make sure the aux fuel tank isnt hung to high, a little above were the tank normally sits......
