Just thought I'd post an update...
After trying a few things for the hot start issue I ended up replacing the coils and the CDI unit.
Bingo! Great result!. Have now got it on historic plates and been out and about on the warm days!
Beautiful stable bike to ride and enjoy.
    Overall work done...
    Resprayed frame and fairings
    Replaced some missing bolts etc
    New coils, plugs and leads..
    New CDI unit
    New shocks
Rebuilt front brake calipers and bled brakes
    Checked all wiring and connectors
Replaced worn rubbers under tank and all over.
Rebuilt forks with new seals and boots
    Replaced globes
Checked all the wheel bearings and headstem etc
    Cleaned and tidied in general.
This is one of the coolest bikes to ride and own.
    Happy riding!

That look's so cool , well done :thumb_ups:.

Another bike saved for the future.

Is it possible to show a picture of how the bike was when first purchased , i think people appreciate the work done when they can see what it first looked like.

I just forwarded the pic's to my mate that is a Kat nut.

The old Honda is also very nice.
