This year I didn't take a bike to ride, just my two Kawasaki 175 trail bikes to show, and after two days driving to get there I could hardly walk so riding was out anyway. The show was again at the National Museum but with only 180 bikes on display (and nearly as many in the car parks) made for plenty of room. Most of the trophy's were won by big bikes (750cc+) with my two the only ones on display from Tamworth. Sadly no trophy's came home with us (only fair to give some others a go), but we plan to fix that next year when the Nat rally will be held in Tamworth on first weekend of March 2017. (Close enough for some of the Qld'ers to attend. Link to the photos, 9 pages of them. http://vjmc-rally.info/piwigo/index.php?/category/1 These are a selection of my Photos. Riders gather for the briefing before the Saturday ride. Very tidy Honda 350/4. I used to own one of these, Kawasaki KT-250 trials bike. Don't want another one. Bridgestone 350. Nice.
Some more. Two 1969 Honda 750/4 with the early 'sand cast' engine cases. Wanted $20,000 each. Overflow from the carparks. My two Kawasaki 175's. Red 1966 and yellow 1971. Some body with too much time on their hands? Yamaha Tenere 600 frame with Suzuki GT550 triple engine. Called a Tanami?
