Hello. For weeks now i have been trying to create an account on the fzronline and 400grey bike forums. Not having luck with either. grrr. Anyway i am looking for a top fairing (headlight triangle shape)) for a 91 yamaha fzr400 3tj. The fairing on my bike that i recently bought is busted to say the least. I found a fiberglass one on e bay but the seller has confimed it doesn't have the 4 headlight bolts intergrated into the fairing, it's just based on a mould taken from the outside. maybe it could be used with holes drilled and bolts mounted through the outside? I really like my fzr400 and i want to tidy it up. Anyone know of a fairing or seller who could help. Thanks graham.
Have a look for the FZR400 owners and the other Yamaha FZR owners groups on facebook. Yep thats the guy. Not a bad bike. Looks better in the photo's. I looked at the one for sale on the tweed. Rust was it's biggest problem. There is a yellow and purple dream machine 4 sale in brisbane with low k's but the paint would have to go Maybe if prince was still alive he'd buy it. Anyway the one i got is a pretty decent runner. I have slotted the stator pick up adding 5 deg advance. Changed fork springs to 2000 r6 and tuned with 15w motul. It came with rear sets and good dunlop q3's. Just needs a valve check, rear shock, exup bushes and a top fairing. That will get it up to scratch for now. Very happy with the way the 400 screams, and handles. Love riding small bikes fast. Joker you are the man. A big thank you to you. I recieved a notification that you mentioned the fairing for sale on gumtree. I called straight away and picked it up today. Very happy. I'll post some pictures soon.

I like them with the white wheels, bit of difference to all the others with black wheels (but will agree black are easier to clean).
Glad you could pick it up. I personally like the original colour scheme better, nothing wrong with painting the nose cone to match and keeping the rest as spares
