come on people, i've had my bike now for prob 2 months and i still haven't been on a decent ride. i am hanging for a ride. went on 1 with a mate the other day into bondi but that was s**t, traffic was too slow and all i did was sit on the seat of the bike and get a hot arse.
i want open roads.
so come on, somebody who knows sydney and knows a good spot to go for a ride please organise it before i go mental.

hey greeny,

You must have missed my post! I organised a ride for the day you posted on. But knowone rang me. Me & my mate want to go this Sunday. So if you and your mates are free come join us. As I said a mad place with twisty roads is the Royal National Park which begins near Loftus & goes all the way to Stanwell Park. Best place to meet is near my place. In other words Brighton beach. Most people know where it is.

So leave this Sunday, the 22nd free.

i was working nightshift sunday night (7pm - 7am) so i couldn't make it.
this coming sunday? i could go, i'm on night shift again, but as long as i can make it to Liverpool by 6.30pm.
what time would u be leaving??

That is a hectic shift man, where do you work???
Ok this Sunday so we can all sleep in a bit I was planning to meet up around 12pm. We should be done by 4pm at the latest.
Best place to meet as I said is Brighton beach. My mate is an L plater so we will be taking it quite easy unless me or someone else wants to go hard.

If knowone has anything against the meeting place, we will meet on the Grand Parade, close to the Bay St. Intersection, opposite the restaurants like Enigma or the Lazy Lobster. You can't miss it! We'll then head down to the Royal National Park through San Souci & Miranda. We can stop for lunch either in the park or when we get to Stanwell Tops/Park. There's petrol stations a long the way in San Souci & Miranda plus one at STanwell Park (though it may be closed). If the weather is crap I will call it off and wait till next week.

Hey ajak,
mate im a at Liverpool.
Yeah, the shifts are long, but i work for four days and then get four days off, so it makes up for it, (plenty of riding time )

12pm suits me ok, i'm not familiar with brighton beach but i'll find it.
i'm an L plater as well and i'm not completely used to riding a road bike yet (been riding trail bikes for about 10 years) so i wont be riding like ROSSI either.

sounds good though, i'll see if my mate can come, (he owns a zzr250).

I live close by Liverpool Greeny, so when heading back to home from RNP you go through heathcoth road to liverpool not far at all. I m a maybe at the moment , I'm quite sick at the moment got some weird ass allergies and I need to get my elipen shot before I go riding again incase I do need it during a ride, I hope definately not though.! But this sunday sounds good depending when my specialist goin prescribe me another shot.

Yeah you better come Dean! Or i'll smack your punkass bike out with my sexy beast!

Greeny, no worries since we'll be taking it easy since my mate on his NSR150 is a L Plater. If we can get 5 or more of us to go that would be nice. So invite as many people as you can!

Oh and interesting info there greeny, maybe I'll have better luck with the highway patrol now .

Where are u talkin about Adam! I never heard of the places you are mentioning lol.. How about I meet u at the first stop near the creek at a certain time after u enter the RNP from sutherland side, then we can ride through the natio and have lunch at the stanwell top area and then head back. as long as we ride back be 2-3pm its alirte after that the sun really blinds u from riding.
did u say u got a mobile numbeR? wat is it.

Trust me Dean its easy to get to Brighton. Just get out your UBD Directory and look up "Brighton" . I want to meet basically right next to where The Grand Parade Intersects with Bay St. So easy to find and none of us will get lost.

Anyone who needs to contact me ring 0410818178, though the phone may be off.

hey guys i can't wait, i'm keen as. (hopefully the weather is all good!)
my mate with the ZZR can't go (he says he is working, but i know he's scared of all our bikes!).
I asked a mate from work to go today (he has a Suzuki TLR1000R) but he knew his bike wouldn't stand a chance against our bikes. (he told me his bike pulls 140kph in 1st gear, and so far he has ONLY taken it up to 260kph, still had more to go!!!)
so if the weather be good i'll see you's at brighton at 12pm. ,
and then after i've enjoyed a godd days ride it's off to work where i'll try not to .
