Was that Phil Lammatina? If that was the crash I saw on Youtube today it was terrifying. He got a shattered vertebrae but they are saying he is expected to make a full recovery.

Ok, so here is a proposed ride map. Start out at Mt Cootha, stop at the glorious cafe for a feed, head on out through Fernvale, quick stop for fuel at either BPs at blacksoil, (cause wed all be getting low in fuel from the ride to Cootha, then to Blacksoil) Im local to the area and neither is far out of our way and can easily navigate us around without getting lost. The east bound BP is easier to get to. then just double back for 30 seconds, and direct onto WB raceway.

or, or, we could replicate a ride the @Th3_Huntsman & @Tim_ did a few months ago.

But this route is double the time. I have to add, this is all weather permitting. If it looks like raining, they call off the test n tune.

Why not race? I think they charge you the same. I'll have to ring and check.

Thats not good phil. I hope that all gets better.

Thats the plan along the way.

Yeah his one was the only big one as far as I know. The chassis just snapped in half!

Ok guys, due to a lack of interest, I am calling this off. I've tagged a few people in this thread with no real responses. I may head out on a Wednesday to give mine a run or 2. Plus I have to work both friday & saturday graveyard shifts, as no one else can do them.

Damn it. I was looking forward to seeing how quick some of you could get down the track. Revolver, one of these days I'll buy a MC22 and leave it up there for drags and track days. Then you'll have a definite starter.

I don't think a CBR was going to make it. Kiffsta was only going to watch.

I'm still VERY interested in putting mine down the strip.

No but I'm assuming you'll want a few days to get your affairs in order after getting back, no?? Plus you'd have to trailer it there cause you don't have a streeter....

I think the CBR will be the quickest down the quarter, but keen to see what your FZR does. I'd take my wife's GSXR down the quarter, but she'd kill me, so someone else will have to try it. ZX2R is quicker than the GSXR...I don't need a drag strip to confirm that.
