Hey guys, Just thought I'd share this with you. Bought an MC22 for 500 bucks a little while ago. Runs well but is a bit of a fire hazard due to a good fuel leak. So anyways, off with the fuel tank disconnect a few things here and there, off with the carby's for a dis-assemble/inspect/clean. While removing the fuel bowls I find.... No 1 carb... No 3 Carb... Might cause a leak me thinks... Everything inside the carbs looks, well, new in fact. The vacuum diaphragms are mint, the float needles are unmarked. But I gotta say, really not a fan of permatex (av-gasket) being used on static o-ring seals...
bugger, you can get them here motorcyclespareswarehouse.com.au, or if you are going the full carb rebuild, check out the kits from litetek.co I'm about do mine as I'm building an MC22 track bike.
