Hi, does anyone know what is the function for this PINK cable from IC Igniter to Speedo/Indicator connectors?

    Speed limiter circuit.

When the speedo needle wipes over 180km/h the signal changes and it messes with your ignition advance to slow down/prevent further acceleration.

You can wire in a 10k ohm resistor (from memory) to prevent it.

Some ZXR250's (like mine) come with a 240km/h speedo and no speed limiter, these models were made in Malaysia.

Most will have the 180km/h speedo

So theoretically, I can check my IC Igniter Pink cable to ground if it has 10K resistance means the CDI have no speed limiter?

You would have to get the speedo needle to 180km/h and measure it
