I have seen the headlight plugs for sale, could you not buy the plugs and make the rest?

    Thanks for trying Chris.

@Murdo - Yes, I wanted to try doing this. I have an original on another bike that I was going to open up to see what goes where. Time is my enemy, so I will leave this for a later date. Where would you recommend I go for the plugs?

You can buy new 4 pin or 6 pin plug's/socket kit's from autobarn, repco, supercheap, jaycar etc
Otherwise go down to your local self serve wrecker's and have a look at plug's/socket's on japanese car's you might be able to match them up

Yep, that's normally the first place I go to. Local store is a bit like an electrical Bunnings...lot's of stuff and reasonable prices, but staff are not employed for their knowledge of electronics...I guess that's modern retailing for you. I'll take the original harness with me.

    Thanks everyone.

Thanks Murdo. I just bought them from eBay. Should be a good project for a beginner like me to try.

I'll give Sharky's mate (Ron) a call tomorrow to see what other parts he has for ZXR250C
