My Son Brandon bought Murdo's ZZR250 but due to an issue with some scoliosis, would prefer to be on a cruiser style bike with an upright position being more comfortable on his back.

So looking to swap with cash either way if needed for a learner legal cruiser style bike like a Virago XV/XVS 250, Suzuki Intruder VL250, Kawasaki VN250 Eliminator. Might consider a Honda V25 custom, but have heard these don't handle well.. don't like cornering seems to be the mantra on some of the reviews I've read about the Honda. Whereas the other 3 seem much better and being described as having engines that are almost un-killable.

Details of Murdo's rebuild are on the site, so won't bore you with that.

Suffice to say the bike hasn't been ridden much, but has been started up regularly. Posts are on the forum with the mod I've done to the handlebars to eliminate vibration and the seat has been re-sculpted with proper seat foam for comfort. Along with the graphics to break up the green. Mirrors were also replaced with brand new genuine Kawasaki ZZR 250 mirrors. The old originals vibrated so much you couldn't see anything.. new ones are clear.

Dash lights all replaced as only 1 was working and all new fuel tap seals also installed as we found it was slowly leaking. New genuine Kawasaki foam air-filter installed and also have a aftermarket spare as well.

PM me if you have a learner legal cruiser you would like to work out a deal with.

    Cheers.

Or will sell for $1900 .. ONO

Eventual buyer was from Narrabri (first person to contact me). His Father-in-law came around this afternoon to take a look at the bike and just picked the bike up this evening.

The other buyers - one from Armidale, was after a bike that was or approaching 30years old so that he could register on club rego. The other buyer from Werris Ck - wanting something as a commuter and to go for a ride on weekends.

They all liked the graphics we put on the bike - which I think helped the sale. As I had a lot of other people contact me today from the Gumtree advert and all commented that they loved the look of the bike with the graphics.

Now hunting for a Learner Legal Cruiser style bike.:D
