    got it yesterday still haven't got it started yet. need help from fellow forumers :p

    around 44k on the clock. engine does turn over but i have no clue on the conditions.

    a lot work will be put on it after i get it started. thinking of front light upgrade Kiffsta recommended and new fairings...

    thanks for the manual chris. haha.. i got it last time too when i stuffed it up.

    yeah slender a 'new' bike of mine. the old one is pending for sale lol... then the money will go onto this one....hehe.. let me know if you come across any sexy scheme...haha

    carbys are off the bike!!!!!! lol..took me a week jz to get that off. fail :BangHead:

    update:

    the bike started!!!!

    so after the carbys are cleaned and put back together i tried to start the bike. nothing...arhh....checked every plug leads and they are all firing..then i notice the 2nd and the 3rd plug lead might be connected to the wrong chamber. so i swapped them and lo and behold it fires lol...after which i did a rough clean on the bike and took it for a short ride around my neighbourhood(illegally since it's not registered atm ;D. shhhhh....)

    oh and the speedo is not working atm..took it out jz now and it seems like it's snapped at the end connected to the engine side.

    that's about it. thanks for all the help :laugh:

    still not done working on the baby though.

    how do i collect that?

    haha..actually i stuffed up too..but it's fixable this time..ended up doing the carbys twice to get it right. was leaking fuel the first time..haha..so i used this gasket sealant the second time and it's all good now.

    update :

    three new rear wheel bearings...woohoo...the bike runs like wind now..

    but the exhaust is too loud :icon_scratch:

    next step  :angel:

    - new fork seals
    - flush and replace coolant and brake fluids
    - new front and rear tires
    - new chain and spockets
    - new brake discs

    That's a decent list to start with. When complete you'll have a really nice machine.
