Engine Cover Renovation (lotsa pics!)

    Time for the stator cover to get a lil lovin.... :D

    Cover off the spare motor was looking even worse .....

    Initial cleanup and stator removed....

    Sand and file time....

    Few coats of primer to fill in the fine scratches and show up the imperfections .... there are still a few that dont show in the photo.... but getting there :thumb_ups:

    Looks like a good start but I though that you use your leg to stop the bike from hitting the road :thumb_ups:

    Sadly the JB weld has ended up a little lumpy..Ill know to use a lot less next time...doesnt respond to sanding very well at all so its time to get out the heavy duty file.... :headbang:

    can you fill me in on jb weld. also when i was at the plastic welders they have a 2 part abs glue that takes 48 hours to dry and melts into the plastic

    Far from perfect up close but Im over it :mad: and plus Ive run out of paint and I wanted to run the bike......and to annoy me further tighting the screws chipped the paint off...:aggressive:

    Eventually will do the other cover black as well...
