Well I am finally home, covered over 1145 K's and in the process broke the Bank with fuel purchases.
Would like to thank members for granting me the "Petrol Tanker Award":p..

It was great to catch up with everyone once again, could have done without the breakdown....sh.t happens !!
Many thanks to the qld lads who assisted me in getting the ZZR600 on the road again. Can't forget my son who doubled back and got me some fuel 20K'S from Texas...thanks Chris.

Good to meet Douglas aka @DougFella, really liked your bike.
The pub in Texas was great, rooms were fine....1st beer on the house :thumb_ups: and the evening feed was outstanding.
Think we can all forget about breakfast the next morning and focus on the ride home.

The zzr600 is officially in "REHAB" as of today, this bike has a serious drinking problem that needs attention.
Will keep you all posted as to my progress.
    Phil......award winner.

Just wanted to thank @Kirk for having some tools that were needed to get me going again on the weekend ride to Texas..thanks mate.
Sunday morning as we headed out of Texas heading to Tenterfield I was behind @DougFella and noticed he disappeared from sight apart from his boots clearly visible on the pegs. Riding the Big Triumph with the panniers and top box he must have laid down over the tank a few times.....wish I had a camera to catch the moment. It was strange to see no rider.
@Darren, big thank you for your photo's :thumb_ups:

I was actually wondering when I did that what on earth it would look like from behind the bike!

Awesome to meet everyone, top bunch of blokes and a great ride. Looking forward to the next one. :thumb_ups:

I was there in spirit. Did ~500km over the weekend on my weebr around the Texas, USA Hill Country. Found myself doing a hard stop in BFE, at the sight of a Rothmans vfr400. Was well worth the stop in Pecan Grove, TX. Several rare (at least in the u.s.) bikes, some classics, and a cold beer were on hand and made the stop worth while. By that point I was well into my 3rd tank of gas and was well overdue for a stretch.

we thought of you as well.some had a steak, chips and salad but out of respect i had fish. lol.you were missed.our texas was a little country town trying to survive on tourism.the pub was good but the breakfast at the " truck stop" left a lot to be desired and is best avoided. the country was lush green after the rains and looked at its best.good company, new roads and fine weather made a good trip.
