Yeah pretty well mate, handles nice and a decent amount of power above 8k rpm :) she does have a dead spot between 6 and 8k though :(

Possibly carby seals, mine used to bog down, then take off at 8000rpm, the seals that join the carbs had perished .... talk to maelstrom for some quality Viton seals :thumb_ups:

Just did a brake fluid change in preparation for tomorrow, I'm assuming brake fluid isn't meant to be black? Lol I have better feel now and hopefully have rectified the front brake grabbing :) next is a carby seal kit;)

Yeah I was thinking new seals as well, there's possible burn marks I'm not 100% sure

Hey Guys, I have had a little gremlin this morning nothing to major. I started the bike up this morning was warming her up while putting my helmet and gloves on, picked it up to turn it around and she conked out. ( it does that as it idles higher on a lean...) and went to start it and nothing

Hey guys, I've found a little electrical gremlin this morning. My starter button stopped working I clutch started the bike as I have a hill for a driveway and i didn't want to put fuel in the car LOL. Got to work still no good. I had a little look and fiddle on my lunch break and it works again. with the handlebars straight or turned left it will fire the starter with them turned right I have nothing.... looks like i'm going to have to find the bad connection :headbang:.

Before u pull off the switchgear look all the way along the wiring to see if its been rubbing or has kinked or even stretched.

That about sums it up risky

Will do GI my money is on that being the problem as a jiggle of the bars fixes it,

Poor connection account for 90% of issues on bikes.

I found the bad connection :) it was a lose plug that connects to the indicator stalk which rubbed when turning the bars right.

I also adjusted the chain today, gear changes and throttle are less jerky now ;)
