Near new ninja 4-5k most popular bike in Aus it really worth 2k but everyone keeps prices up in a ur or 2 they will be cheap as 300 ninja will flood 2nd market at same if not less price
I am in Sydney, my bike is above average when it comes to the mc22 I am sure. I am more than happy to come with you to check out bikes and help you decide. Just let me know when and where and we can do the math if it works out to be worth it or not.
All LAMS bikes are overpriced i agree. Overpriced by a wiiiiiiiide margin. I keep an eye on used ninjas but far out talk about overpriced for what it is. If the ninja were my only choice id honestly just prefer a postie for a year or 2 until i got my opens. And also Damus really appreciate the offer will keep in touch if anything eventuates with the bike. Where abouts in Sydney you from?
Parramatta areaish, but I work in balmain and I float around the semi liverpoolish area at times. Even if you want to just take see my bike and take it for a quick ride for comparison reasons I am cool with that. I looked at a few before I bought mine and like i say, it really is a good example.
Unless you know something we don't? The L 90-91 doesn't differ to the N 92-93 as far as I knew. If it is different to the R model then that's what the restriction would be. But the only difference I found was the inlet size? was smaller on the L & N compared to the R model. I think the jetting was different also on the R model. But I didn't fine the size of the carbs them selves were different. VP20, 28 or 29mm a piece!????
Few *starts breathing heavy* had me worried. I was like "could I be wrong, I read about this all day at work!!!". Hahaha.
I dunno about that version of the repsol kit though. Its like its trying to look new on a dated bike. I really wonder what that gas tank looks like in real life also.
Yeh i was thinking along the same lines. Also i called up about the monster fairings cbr. I think it was 2.5 or 2.8k with a blue slip or 3.5k for it full rego. Apparently all good but has bit of power missing in the mid range and he alledges it could be fixed with a set of new spark plugs. Seems a bit expensive if its 2.8 without rego and im not paying 3.5 for a cbr. Whats your thoughts?
It's a risk, as always. If there is a problem and the seller acknowledges, use as leverage to lower the price accordingly (meaning, how much it will cost you to fix, in money or time/effort)
Yeh i told him id think about it and that we werent on tje same page about price but if he changes his mind hes got my number.
