One thing we don't do very well on the forum is organise social rides, its not through lack of trying in the early days but its hard to get a times where everyone is available. What I thought would be best is if to create a list of riders who are keen for a ride where you can post your username, location and bike and preferred riding days , this way other members can see if your keen for a ride and PM you if one is planned. Weather permitting I do a short ride to Mt Glorious and home every Sunday. Meet at The Gap BP leaving 6.15am sharp. Usually home after breakfast by 9.00 - 9.30 so you can do other things on your Sunday. And if you want to keep going the choice is yours.
Sydney. Occasionally available after work (3pm Parramatta) Weekends generally. I have no running 250 atm, but I am sure I can find a working bike somewhere in the garage. Always happy to do a few errands for my lovely wife. Milk? Sure! Back in 3 hours. Actually heading up to Guyra this thursday to meet some mates and ride around a bit.
I'm in Ipwsich, QLD. If I head to Glorius it is through Fernvale etc. I'm keen for a ride saturday or sunday etc but the 1100 is awaiting new headers and the 250 isn't running yet ha ha. Will be about 3 weeks before I'm on the road again. BMW R1100s (Belongs to a friend I build bikes for-he lets me ride his bikes when I want winning!))
TechHeadFred. Canberra/ACT and surrounding NSW. ZZR250 and CB250RS (250s), KLR650 and FZR400 (non-250s). Friday nights/weekends are best - can do weekday evenings after 6 at a pinch.
