Rides Events Clubs Groups Spring Ride / Get Together / Pool Party 2017

Sorry to hear about the issues. Mick and I had a bit of a run around the Bunya Mountains. Took my brothers bike for a ride since it hasn't been on the road for nearly 12 months. Nice scenery but a bit too much gravel and narrow bitumen roads for me. Hopefully we can all catch up again together in November.

 

mine- dennis,s motor apart- valve stem let go.valve hit piston and the piston obviously shunted it north.at minimum needs one collet, one guide, one valve and one piston.yet too check bore.why the valve stem broke beats me. anyone have ideas?

 

mixed grill pie had layer of bacon, fried egg, tomato then steak. top five dollar spend.

 

So, is this ride still on for Nov 11-12? That's only a month away. What time would Brisbane people be leaving? I have to think about time off work and what I'm riding/driving. And I'll have to find a church to get to, as well as plan around Sunday (I don't trade on Sundays, it would be hypocritical of me to have Sunday off and then ask someone else to work on Sunday), so what would be the Sunday plan? When would you be back in Brisbane? It'd be good to meet a few more of you guys.

 

Only a few weeks away now. Any plans?

 

well i reckon someone in qld needs to organize. i reckon murdo, me and dennis would be in.

 

yeah, I have dropped the ball, I have been away and come back to several massive weeks of work.

I wont make this ride, I have done some damage to the rotator cuff in my shoulder and wont be riding for a bit while I recover.

 

no riding or arm above shoulder for 3 months i would say. buggr was looking forward to it.any other qld,s interested?

 

My parish decided to have a Christmas function on the 12th, and I live 8 hours north of Brisbane, I'd have to leave so early that I would barely have arrived! And I was looking forward to meeting people.

Sorry to hear about the shoulder, @kiffsta. That's going to be no fun, especially with work.

 

So, is March or April better for everyone? I'm ruling out the Easter weekend, that's already booked out. But now I have some options for bikes, I just need to save some money or sell some bikes.

 

agree with murdo- the drags are on between murdo,frankster and me for a bottle of pear cider and i do not drink alcohol and i reckon franster would want a wine so i figure murdo gets a drink whether he wins or loses.lol.

 

I can’t do any weekends in Apri, I have 2 weddings and a bucks night , sorry lads mid to late May and I could do something

19-20 or 26-27? The 19-20 looks good to me, I could try to combine it with the track day on the 18th.
