Hey Guys, For a customers bike, i'm chasing one / preferably 2 carb diaphragms, a bar end weight, rear brake lever, and a jap import rhs front caliper. Cheers
You may have some luck searching by part numbers and cross referencing for the carb diaphragms https://www.motorcyclespareswarehouse.com.au and also https://xcitebikes.com.au/ Other option is either https://en.impex-jp.com/ or https://japan.webike.net/ for new OEM
I've also bought many good second hand parts for my FZR250 at this site: Yahoo! Japan Auctions English | eBay Japan | Japan Proxy Shopping (jauce.com) When you buy something and it arrives at their warehouse in condition different than the listing's description, they'll let you know and send photos of any damage, with the option of asking for a refund.
rhs jap caliper and lever i have found, its just the diaphragms really which if i can get something locally would be best.
Australian Amazon lists many diaphragms .... I couldnt see the GSX250F listed on my quick search but there would be others with the same carbs I would think The original part is listed as a diaphragm assembly , which means it includes the slide , which means even if u could find any , they wont be cheap Maitland Motorcycles - GSX250F 1994 - CARBURETOR
sadly there isn't any other bike that uses the mikuni bsw27 carbs. impex and suzuki all discontinued. my only option is second hand.
Appear to be available to order via Impex but steep at nearly $80USD each https://en.impex-jp.com/parts/new/search/22/1350034A00.html Revised part: https://en.impex-jp.com/parts/new/search.html?partNo=1350034A01 You could try Yahoo Auctions Japan via Buyee or Jauce etc and try to find some new/aftermarket ones, I searched the part number and found nothing. Getting anything fuel or oil related out of Japan is extremely difficult or impossible, so you wo't able to buy a whole set of carburettors. I tried recently for a fuel tap for my FZR250 3LN and couldn't unblock the auction. Maybe you will get lucky.
By the way there is a revision of this part 13500-34A00 to 13500-34A01 It appears you can order the revised part from Aussie Suzuki dealers, they are all nil stock but orders available. https://www.boltonmotorcycles.com/part/suzuki/1350034A01 https://www.christensensmotorcycles.com.au/part/suzuki/1350034A01 https://www.mickhone.com.au/partFinder/fiche/suzuki/1993/gsx250f/carburetor https://yamahaoemparts.com.au/partFinder/fiche/suzuki/1994/gsx250f/carburetor https://parts.bikebiz.com.au/suzuki/1997/GSX250F/CARBURETOR
If you check impex, they list out of production, all the suzuki dealers in australia when you contact them are discontinued and NLA. Thats why my most likely success will be someone who has parts bikes / spares.
You could try this .... I would guess wreckers would only sell complete carbs though Wreckers used motorcycle parts for all motorcycles including Honda Suzuki Yamaha Kawasaki (findapart.com.au)
Can I ask what the actual issue is with the carb diaphragm(s)? I seem to recall someone one the forum finding a fuel resistant polyurethane that could be painted onto small holes in a diaphragm which didn't set rigid and would stick to the diaphragm rubber. If it was carefully applied to both sides in a small amount over a small hole joining in the centre it would be like a pop rivet with both sides joined through that middle. It's a very vague memory though.
A cheap parts bikes has been found to have all the donor pieces, that works also. Probably cheaper in the long run.
