Latest report from the Masters. http://teamtiger.com.au/masters-of-morgan-park-2014/ If you enjoy the report even .000000001% of how much I enjoyed racing then you should enjoy it Added more things to the meeting statistics. If anyone has any ideas for stats they would find interesting I'm listening. Cheers Simon
Hey Simon Another great write up, it would be cool to see your top speed in the stats as well. Cheers Chris
I would love top speed but we don't have any way of measuring it unless someone has a gps and maybe lean angle recorder to lend us. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Round 3 report is now ready for your reading/watching enjoyment, I got this one ready is record time, helped by Wayne getting the photos to me so quickly. http://teamtiger.com.au/southern-downs-road-race-series-2014-round-3/
Another good read an watch Simon, cheers for that, that crash looked pretty ordinary, I hope Kieran is okay, I have never seen a handle snap like that
I put together a highlights video from round 4. Enjoy this while I continue to work on the race report.
You can run them on track days at Morgan park. Also you get to run a transponder and get your lap times.
Round 4 report complete, hope you enjoy. http://teamtiger.com.au/southern-downs-road-race-series-2014-round-4/ Now to start on the report for the racing at the weekend for the Australian Historic Road Race Championship at Lakeside.
Congrats on that last race Simon you look a little bit pleased as you croosed the line, fist pumping, it was a really tight race.
Great footage Simon, that Kaiser Baas cameras do a top job. I must admit when I saw you dicing with number 46, I got quite worried, I checked my garage to see if my bike was still there, as they say Orange in the new black I hope Gary is back on the track soon as well as Keiren Cheers Chris
That last race was one of the most exciting races I've ever had, I had to beat Jeff Duke on the 81 bike for the title as we were tied for the lead going into that race. I got a poor start and got lucky as Jeff had to back it off just a smidgen onto the straight when the bike in front of him stepped out, I got one of my best exit's of the weekend and passed Jeff on the straight then got the 2 125GP bikes on the brakes into the Karrussel, giving me just enough space over Jeff to take 2nd in class behind Alex Pickett and give me the title! Gary's collarbone is starting to join up, he is going a bit stir crazy not being able to do much. Kieran all back together but he has some bike fixing to take care of now! Cheers Simon
The report from the Aussie titles is ready! This one is done a little differently as I was the only Team Tiger rider again, there was a different team - Tony Carroll, Mojo Webb and Jeff Duke and I were all setup together. So I have done the report including them. Some of the best onboard footage yet! Some excellent photos, and some very exciting on track action! http://teamtiger.com.au/australian-historic-road-race-championship-2014-lakeside/ Hope you Enjoy! Cheers Simon
Absolutely awesome cornering speed..nuff said!!!!!! Fantasic coverage with the on bike cam..I need to relearn the art of countersteer from looking at the footage..love the way your tipping it in and nailing the bike down..left right and vice versa if that's the right terminology..couple of those 'switches' stand out as being pure magic!!! keep the updates coming !
Put together some statistics from my season in the 250/300 Production class at the Southern Downs. It's even got a graph http://teamtiger.com.au/season-statistics-simon-dickson-250-production/
