thanks bud , will pass it on , its for a computorless mate , been looking every where with no luck .. forgot about boats.net .. will have to put them on my list
From CMS.nl Front part number, 55U-25104-00 Rear, 56A-25304-00 Cut and paste those numbers into google and see what comes up.
thanks, got through on your original posting , thought would put up about partziller /boats net for anyone else as boats seem to have taken down their m/cyle section though can still get through on parts nums, easier to go through partziller now
Check against IMPEX as well, I have found them to be cheaper overall on pretty much everything so far. https://en.impex-jp.com
keep coming up with the same prob , rear spokes are not avalible , can get rims and front spokes but not the rear , same every where i look .. bloody strange , when the mate asked me thought ahhh.. easy .. but .. not the case , hes restoring a couple of tt600 along with his collection of xt500 , have found a lot of hard to find bits and bobs for him but these spokes are pissing me off , he may have to settle for a non gen rear wheel already made up that looks simmiler ,, will give it a few more trys .. thanks for the help you blokes have given me another couple of sites for future reference , doing a shed rearanging later to day , will have to remember to get the camera out and photo the current 250 collection for the garage section
What about give these blokes a ring. https://fastlinespokes.com.au/ https://www.jtr.com.au/form/contact-us/ https://www.lightfootwheels.com/spokes-1
wow... murdo , thank you, thank you , they look $$$ but might come very much in handy for my douglas t35 if i cant get them out of london (have to do rims and spokes for it) have you used them , if so what was the dollars like
Bought some spokes from Lightfoot about 10 years ago and were costly (stainless) but good quality and spot on fit. Have been using the Thailand made rims and spokes for all the rest and they have proved to be good quality and fit (for the price) and have had no problems with them.
good to know thailand mob is good quality the trouble seems to be the backs a z spoke and no one seems to make them any more ,the blokes making spokes will really come in handy as doult if many douglas ones are still around or being made , still have to ask at the douglas club as they are selling / remanufacturing new parts but??? have a zedda software but not uploaded on to this computor , will have o do it and have a look at what other models there were used on , a lot of /most of the sites only look up parts for that model and not other bikes the part was used on eg exhaust gasket for the xs650 was used on 17 diferent model bikes .. any way thanks for your help
How bad is your rear wheel? Is this any good to you, 1988/1989 XT600 rear wheel ? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-...140671?hash=item2887450a7f:g:nnEAAOSwfQ1dqGPY
turns out wont fit according to the mate , would have to swap over to a xt swing arm as well ,thought would be interchangable but not so and hes the exspert with the xt500 and xt / tt600 (hes got a few) , damm.. learn something everyday , hes trying to keep as original as possible .. thanks though
