    Hi all!

I'm new to bikes (got my L's in October) and new to tinkering.

    I recently purchase 2 1980 Suzuki GSX 250s
(one: registered and running, the other: a work in progress).

I'm hoping to learn as I go both how to put a bike together and how to keep it together once it's up and running. At this stage they both need a bit of tlc but I'm confident they'll be turning heads in no time (give it at least a year at this rate haha).

Anyway, just thought I'd throw up some pics and say g'day as I'll probably be posting a lot more on here as I run into problems.

For now, it's back to figuring out what parts I need...

To put Rob and Wazza at ease: I'm not planning on chopping the blue one at all. PO put clubmans on and got rid of the stock mirrors but the rest is stock.
Only cosmetic changes I can see for it would be a good detail and maybe some better looking indicators but pretty happy with it as is.

The black is a bit of a different story...
From what I've been told, the owner before last had started a cafe conversion but gave up at some point. The guy I bought it off had grand plans but never actually did anything with it. And now I've gotta pick up the pieces and do my best to get it running again. So, without meaning to cause offence, my plan is to try and finish the cafe conversion. The frame has already been chopped, foot pegs are gone, air box is missing and a few other minor things so I can't really go backwards.

The way I look at it, I get to keep one old bike on the road and try to breathe new life into the other.
