    At least you used a torque wrench. My brother does thing up until they strip, then backs it off half a turn! :headbang:

    just passed final inspection on roadworthy and registered my bike in QLD as mine!!! wooohooo

    was a wet day on the coast, so i decided to overhaul both my front brake calipers and bleed the lines properly with doT4 and get air out.

    and you know what, i think the brakes feel about 100% better, and i thought they were good before!!

    remember if you cannot get all the air out to zip tie the front brake lever in overnite.will bleed back to master cylinder

    yeah, no paint unfortunately :( bit low on cash lately :oops: but i overhauled them for functionality... however, paint will surely be on the list!!

    yeah i ended up buying a bleeder tube with a 1-way valve, just kept on pumping the front brake until the air bubbles got out of the fluid then tightened off the bleeder valve :) would be heaps easier with a vacuum pump tho

    When replacing your plug caps snip a few mm off the leads to give u some nice shiny wire for the new caps to screw into ..... and be careful to make sure the 'screw' doesnt wander off centre into the rubber shield.
