Hi all. I've recently gotten my bandit back together after stripping it down and refurbishing it. I've gotten to the stage of wiring everything back up, but i've run into an issue where I can't remember which way around the coils are positioned and which spark plugs they are supposed to go to. I've currently got the left coil (looking from the rear of the bike) going to the Left and right cylinders, and the right coil going to the middle two cylinders. Im not entirely sure if this is correct. Also if anyone has a link to a manual or tutorial on disassembling the carbs, that would be great
Heres the kit for the carbs https://litetek.co/Carb_Kit_Suzuki_GSF250_GJ74A.html And there will be detailed schematics of the carbs in the parts list and Im assuming some sort of guide in the workshop manual to overhaul them .... if your not sure on anything just ask here https://2fiftycc.com/index.php?resources/categories/gsf250-bandit.33/ General threads like this will help with some good methods for cleaning etc https://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/cleaning-carburettors-using-threebond.3800/#post-44739
What problem, exactly? Usually, the left coil has a short spark lead and cap for cylinder one, and a long one for number 4. The right coil will have two leads of similar length for cylinders 2 & 3. The leads or caps can be numbered as well, but those have usually worn away from age
