Project Project Corona, CBR250r MC19 crankcase set wanted

    This idea has taken up residence in my head for a while now, so with the extra time on my hands, here we go,,,,
    I need another set of MC19 CBR250R crankcases to cut up, they can be damaged, in need of a rebore, thrown a leg out of bed etc,,but CHEAP !
    Once the gearbox has been removed & I get 2 sets to line up,,I can destroy 2 engines to combine to begin to make a shared crank 500 V8

    Unfortunately , it's 1.5 litres too big,,:dance2:, plus a few squillion bucks too expensive for me:lolsign:

    Something that gorgeous was always going to have an eye watering price tag attached - I deliberately didn't ask the creator the price because I didn't want to gasp right in front of him and embarrass myself

    Interesting project. Why start with 250s. A larger motor would be far more apealing for many applications. Not just bikes.

    Good for you. Something I have thought about before, but have never gotten around to it. I was going to start with some old gsxr bits.
