Yeh it's not bad for a pressure pak job haha, you can tell the tank is factory colour. I end up gettin it for $1k, guy was heaps sweet about all of it. He even gave me a bag rack for it off of a GSX250 that he had retrofitted to it haha, maybe Grey might want it, I dunno. But tell me more about these decals Kiff.

EDIT** BTW if anyone can find a manual or a parts listing for this beast I would appreciate it very much

Nice looking bike, if you rode it home it can't be bad. One observation, give that chain a clean and some good lubrication and you'll be fine, good purchase mate.:thumb_ups:

If you can find a font \ PSD off the net , just send them to me and I can cut them, I think black would look great against the silver

font is the style of writing, if you go to http://www.1001freefonts.com/ you can choose a font and give me the sizes and I can cut it, PSD is a vector based image such as the GPX logo I uploaded before

Maybe like the GPX750R style, 'Kawasaki' on side of tanks and '250R'or 'Ninja' on the lower fairing. 'GPX' for below the windshield and rear fairings & '2fiftycc.com.au' for the rear farings. I don't really know what I'm talking bout here Kiff but how's that sound?

    Correct ....
As with alot of bikes they have different model names for different countries/markets

Since 2008, the bike is marketed as the Ninja 250R in all markets. It is also referred to by its platform designation, EX250, to which a generational suffix is attached. In the United States, previous models (EX250-E/F/G/H) were already being marketed as members of the Ninja family of sport bikes, while outside of the U.S. the bike was known variously as the ZZR-250, ZX-250, or as the GPX-250R. One of the earliest models, the EX250-C, was given the name GPZ-250.

EX250-F - The most widespread EX250 variant, the E model was completely revamped and sold as the F model between 1988 and 2007 in the United States. Canada received the model between 1988 and 1999, and it was available elsewhere as the GPX-250R as early as 1987.

Does this mean that the Ninja 250R manual from 88-08 or whatever it is will cover it?

Good to hear it's common :D

I dont know but I would think the late models wouldnt bear much in common with the first ones.

Heres the the manual I found ....its a 'supplement' so Id presume its directed specifically at the GPX

It says something about being for the EX250-F2 \GPZ250R. But the title says GPX250R! It's probably right, it looks the same anyways. Thanks Grey

I would say u could use a manual for an EX , GPZ , ZZR or a GPX and there wouldnt be much difference , especially with the basics ...... manufacturers tend to change some things though for different markets because of local laws ,emission controls etc.

Ok so I was thoroughly ripped off by the local Kawa dealer today and have zero intention of ever going back there. MuthaBitch charged me $10 for an oil filter o-ring! So I'm looking for a cheap parts website, I have www.kawasakipartshouse.com but that's it, they're pretty cheap but I'm counting on you vets to know of somewhere cheaper :D

So I left work today looking forward to give the bike a bit of a squirt on my short commute home, 2mins in and disaster struck. 2nd gear 3rd gear 4th gear wont go above 6.5k to 7k revs and the bike bogs down hard. I had to ride it all the way doin 60ks a hour. To me, it sounds like the bike might be flooded and it.s preventing me fro accelerating. I suspect the float needles are worn and as I haven.t pulled the carbs off yet I can.t confirm. Does anyone else have any ideas?
